With another week just about to start, the anxiety of what is to come is kinda hitting me. Its amazing how two days of rest can reset one's mode of work and erase all of last week's worries. Getting all of my things together for tomorrow- lunch, bag, clothing- is my way of controlling what I can to start it off right.
Monday is generally the day of the week that everyone abhors. Its the back to the mundane task, the start of routine and back to reality concept. The day that everyone wishes would disappear...
Being aware of that thought, I decided to make a conscious effort to make Mondays better and not have such a negative connotation to it. All a part of my being more positive resolution for the year.
Reflection: How many of us dread Monday? Think the day is going to suck even before it's started? How many rush to get it done with?
Truly thinking on those questions- I've been there, done that many times. Monday should be thought of as a beginning, place to start all over and make things that much better for yourself. A day to set personal goals to reach for by the end of the week. And who knows what gracious gift Monday may bestow on us...
Take a step back and remind yourself that Monday is just a beginning and it's going to up from there. Enjoy it, live it, own it. Hurray for Monday!
